AVELLUM CONTRIBUTES TO INVESTIGATION OF WAR CRIMES

Associate of our white-collar crime team Oleh Shkondin joined the group of international experts focusing on preservation of evidence of war crimes committed by russian soldiers in Ukraine.

Following the russian invasion in Ukraine, Global Rights Compliance (GRC) and partners launched the Mobile Justice Teams project to strengthen the capacity of Ukrainian investigators and prosecutors to investigate and prosecute war crimes. Such groups ensure effective investigation following international and domestic criminal law.

GRC was founded in 2013 to ensure justice through the innovative application of international law. GRC provides legal advice to governments, companies and interested parties on issues of international humanitarian law, human rights, and other areas.
