AVELLUM is pleased to announce the promotion of 12 lawyers across its Antitrust, Dispute Resolution, Tax, Energy, Real Estate & Infrastructure and Finance practices, including the appointment of two new Counsels.
Olena Sichkovska-Chornobyl appointed as Counsel in AVELLUM’s Energy and Natural Resources practice.
Olena has more than 10 years of experience advising on energy matters, including structuring renewable energy projects, regulatory compliance, and preparing investment projects for financing. Her expertise covers a broad range of issues, including grid connection, licensing, environmental impact assessment, M&A transactions, and the strategic development of energy assets.
Olena advises Ukrainian and international clients on the implementation of energy projects in Ukraine, particularly in the areas of renewable energy, regulatory matters, investment structuring, electricity markets and cross-border energy issues.
Olha Samoilenko appointed as Counsel in AVELLUM’s Antitrust Practice.
Olha advises Ukrainian and international clients on the full spectrum of competition law matters. Her practice covers merger control and obtaining approvals from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, antitrust compliance, market regulation, and abuse of dominance matters.
She regularly advises on complex M&A transactions, investment projects, and regulatory matters across a broad range of industries, including energy, agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, and retail. Olha has assisted clients in securing merger clearances for a number of landmark M&A transactions and investment projects in Ukraine and has also contributed to legislative initiatives aimed at developing Ukraine’s competition law framework.
