Four law students receive Roman Ratushnyi scholarship

Four law students receive the Roman Ratushnyi Scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year. It was established in memory of the late lawyer and activist by law firms Allen & Overy, Morgan Lewis, and Norton Rose Fulbright with the support of AVELLUM.

The Charitable Foundation in Memory of Roman Ratushnyi awarded the scholarship based on civic engagement to the following students:

  • Vladyslav Zhuravlev and Snizhana Vasylieva from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (KNU);
  • Maria Oshovska from Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU);
  • Marta Heniuk from Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University (NLU).

This year’s competition included 23 participants from KNU, UCU and NLU.

The Scholarship Committee, consisting of representatives from the Founders, AVELLUM, universities, and Taras Ratushnyi, evaluated works with unchanged competition terms except for essay topics.
