Information

Rostyslav Mushka is a Managing Associate at AVELLUM’s Real Estate and Infrastructure Practice with a primary focus on land, real estate, construction, and infrastructure. 

Rostyslav assists clients with various real estate and infrastructure-related matters, including real estate due diligence. He also advises both Ukrainian and international clients on landmark projects in the Ukrainian market, particularly in infrastructure and construction sectors. 

His practice extends across a wide variety of legal issues, including subsoil use, execution of PSAs and participation in related tenders, as well as PPPs in Ukraine, specifically concession.

Prior to joining AVELLUM Rostyslav worked as an associate at one of the “Big 4” firms.

      Provided comprehensive legal support to Sunflower Network on launching a pioneering hospital project in Western Ukraine, designed a unique cross-border legal framework enabling charitable funding from the United States to support a Ukrainian municipal healthcare institution

      Advised A-Development, one of the leading Ukrainian developers, on the construction of a real estate complex in the centre of Kyiv in the form of a joint investment with a business partner

      Advised a US-based oil and gas company, with gas-production business in Europe, on participation in the tender and signing of a production sharing agreement in Ukraine with total investment over USD40 million

      Advised UK-based oil and gas exploration and development company, which is a part of global oil & gas group of companies, on preparation of the first draft of production sharing agreement in Ukraine

      Advised the subsidiaries of UK-based oil and gas exploration and development company, which is a part of global oil & gas group of companies, on participation in the auction on the sale of the special permit for subsoil use regarding a large deposit of oil and gas

      Conducted a full scope due diligence and advised EBRD on making up to USD10 million equity investment to acquire shares in a newly formed special purpose vehicle that would consolidate three existing Ukrainian companies involved in natural gas upstream production

      Conducted an in-depth due diligence of 29 hectares of lands before their acquisition by the client

      Advised US-based oil & gas company with gas production in Europe on participation in tender and signing of the production sharing agreement. Total amount of expected investment is USD40 mln

      Advised one of the biggest Turkish catering companies on lease of more than 1,000 sq. m. of food and beverages areas in Odessa International Airport

      Advised a private client on wide range of issues related to construction of real estate with the total area of 2,800 sq. m.

      Advised a Swiss headquartered iron-ore company with assets in Ukraine on land acquisition matters

      Advised a private client on lease of residential premises in Brussels, Belgium

      Conducted a due diligence of three Ukrainian companies, which are part of international agribusiness holding with worldwide presence, with total land bank of 3.8 thousand hectares and several production plants

      Conducted a due diligence of nine Ukrainian companies which owned a few real estate objects with total area exceeding 65,000 square meters and leased premises with total area over 24,000 square meters
