AVELLUM ADVISES CHG HEALTHCARE ON ACQUISITION OF MODIO HEALTH

AVELLUM acted as the Ukrainian legal counsel to CHG Healthcare, one of the largest healthcare staffing companies in the US, on the acquisition of Modio Health, a provider of technology solutions for the healthcare industry.

AVELLUM advised CHG Healthcare on various Ukrainian IP law matters arising during the transaction. In particular, AVELLUM advised the client on the transfer of IP rights to the software and compliance with Ukrainian copyright law.

Latham & Watkins LLP acted as the US legal counsel to CHG Healthcare.

CHG Healthcare is a leader in healthcare staffing and the nation’s largest provider of locum tenens services. The company is known for its award-winning culture and benefits and has been named one of Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” each of the past 10 years.

Modio Health is a cloud-based credentialing and career management solution for healthcare providers and organisations. Founded in 2014, Modio has more than 300 U.S.-based clients, including hospitals, medical groups, MSOs, revenue cycle firms, and pharmacies. The company is headquartered in San Francisco.
