AVELLUM confirms its position in GRR 100 – 2026

Global Restructuring Review (GRR) has once again recognised AVELLUM among the GRR 100 Highly Recommended, identifying the world’s leading law firms for cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters.

AVELLUM’s restructuring and insolvency team, led by senior partner Glib Bondar with support from senior partner Kostiantyn Likarchuk and partner Vadim Medvedev, brings together finance, dispute resolution, and tax expertise to support clients in complex, multi-jurisdictional restructuring cases.

GRR highlights AVELLUM’s work on some of Ukraine’s most significant restructurings, including:

  • the restructuring of USD 20.47 billion of state and state-guaranteed Eurobonds for the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, achieving a 37% nominal haircut, delivering substantial debt service savings, and extending maturities;
  • multi-jurisdictional insolvency and enforcement proceedings for Innovatus Capital Partners, valued at approximately USD 150 million, securing first-instance recognition of claims;
  • the successful consent solicitation in relation to Vodafone Ukraine’s USD 500 million Eurobonds, addressing repayment constraints caused by currency control restrictions under martial law.

Client feedback cited by GRR underscores the team’s commercial judgement, responsiveness, and ability to manage sensitive, high-stakes matters. Clients note the team’s strong understanding of sovereign-specific issues and highlight Glib Bondar’s leadership and consistent involvement throughout complex consent solicitation processes.

GRR 100 is an annual guide that identifies the leading restructuring and insolvency teams worldwide based on their expertise, notable matters, and market impact.
