We invite you to join the “MAP: State protects taxpayers, how to achieve this?”, the first event in our AVELLUM Taxember series, which will take place on 14 November 2024, at 11:00 (Kyiv time).

This event is jointly organised by AVELLUM, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, and the Faculty of Law, National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

This event will be especially beneficial for individuals experiencing challenges with changing tax residency, legal entities focused on applying and interpreting double tax treaties, and others interested in exploring alternative solutions for resolving tax controversies.

11:10-12:45 EET. Main discussion with AVELLUM and Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

  • Legislative regulation of MAP – general description of the procedure under Ukrainian legislation with a step plan for initiating MAP
  • Overview of key legislative initiatives regarding MAP
  • Ukrainian experience of conducting MAP
  • Analysis of previous experience related to completed and ongoing MAP cases in Ukraine
  • Overview of international practice regarding MAP
  • Practical relevance of MAP for taxpayers facing controversies

12:45-13:00 EET. Q&A session.
