AVELLUM acted as Ukrainian legal counsel to Aspia in acquisition of Accountor Outsourcing

AVELLUM acted as Ukrainian legal counsel to Aspia, the leading business partner offering technology-enabled accounting, payroll, tax, and advisory services in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark, on the acquisition of Accountor Outsourcing, a major provider of accounting, payroll, and professional services in the Nordic region.

The acquisition aims to expand and strengthen Aspia’s presence in the Nordics and increase its European footprint. With market leadership positions in their respective home markets, Sweden and Finland, as well as combined top 5 positions in Norway and Denmark, the combination will allow clients of both businesses to be better served across their needs and benefit from a materially larger platform with increased investments in automation and digitalisation.

Our team assisted with Ukrainian law matters related to the closing of the transaction. Kirkland & Ellis acted as the lead legal counsel representing Aspia. For transaction details, please refer to the company’s press release at the following link.

Managing partner Mykola Stetsenko led the AVELLUM team with support from managing associate Maryna Buinytska and associate Olha Rudevych.
