AVELLUM advises Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on GBP1.7 billion UK-guaranteed defence facility

AVELLUM acted as the Ukrainian legal counsel to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on a defence financing facility of up to GBP 1.7 billion, guaranteed by UK Export Finance.

The facility’s proceeds will be used to procure air defence equipment, which will significantly strengthen Ukrainian air defence capabilities. The financing is provided to Ukraine under the UK-Ukraine Framework Agreement on Official Credit Support for the Development of Ukraine’s Defence Capabilities.
