AVELLUM promotes Oleksii Maslov to Partner, strengthening its Dispute Resolution practice

AVELLUM is pleased to announce the promotion of Oleksii Maslov to Partner in Dispute Resolution practice, focusing on International Arbitration, effective 1 January 2025. With this promotion, our partnership has grown to eleven partners.

During his nine years with AVELLUM, Oleksii has built a strong reputation for representing clients in high-profile international arbitrations and cross-border disputes. His recent work includes acting for Ukraine in two investment arbitrations and representing a major Ukrainian agricultural producer in a challenging LCIA arbitration with parallel court proceedings in other jurisdictions. He is experienced in cases under the ICC, LCIA, SCC, ICSID, FOSFA, ICAC at UCCI and UNCITRAL rules, bringing a tailored and innovative approach to most complex international disputes.

Oleksii also actively contributes to the development of arbitration in Ukraine and globally. As a Board Member of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association and Member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR, he is involved in initiatives to improve arbitration legislation, supports new practitioners through mentorship, and contributes to professional discussions. Oleksii is highly regarded by clients, who value his “proactive and client-oriented approach”.
