Oleksandr Kozhukhar, CIPP/E, is a Counsel in AVELLUM’s corporate practice. He focuses on corporate law and mergers and acquisitions, advising Ukrainian and international clients on M&A transactions, joint ventures, venture capital investments, and a broad range of corporate matters.
Oleksandr also advises on a wide range of technology matters, including data protection, intellectual property, and emerging areas of regulation, such as artificial intelligence. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and regularly assists clients with data protection compliance, from designing and implementing compliance programmes to providing detailed advice on complex data processing operations, including the development of new digital services and products.
His intellectual property experience covers the commercialisation of IP rights, including franchising, licensing, and IP transfer arrangements. In addition, Oleksandr advises on product safety, consumer protection, and related regulatory matters.
