Three graduates of Dnipro Municipal Law Lyceum (“Lyceum”) have been awarded the Tetiana Dukhovna Scholarship (“Scholarship”) to pursue legal education at top Ukrainian universities. The initiative supports legal education and honours the memory of the Lyceum’s founding principal, Tetiana Dukhovna.
The Scholarship is administered by the Charitable Foundation in Memory of Tetiana Dukhovna, founded by her daughter, Inna Yaremchuk. AVELLUM, represented by partner Yuriy Nechayev and associate Oleh Smetiukh, provides organisational support.
The Scholarship was launched by Lyceum alumni who are now building careers in law and the public sector. Among them are Yuriy Nechayev and AVELLUM alumni Anton Polikarpov and Vladyslav Heivandov.
As a result of the competition, the Scholarship was awarded to:
- Artem Chechkovskyi;
- Yelyzaveta Novikova;
- Artem Apanashenko.
The award amount is UAH180,000. It covers tuition and accommodation expenses.
“I am grateful to the Lyceum, especially to Tetiana Dukhovna, for the guidance that shaped my career. This scholarship is my way of giving back and helping others start their professional path,” says Yuriy Nechayev, partner at AVELLUM.
