AVELLUM successfully obtained unconditional clearances for UKRNAFTA to manage TATNEFT

AVELLUM advised PJSC “Ukrnafta” the country’s largest oil producer operating 545 petrol stations, on obtaining merger clearances from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine for taking under management seized assets of LLC “Tatneft-AZS-Ukraine”, LLC “Kharkiv-Capital”, and LLC “Poltava-Capital”.

As a result of this agreement, a network of more than 50 petrol stations and other assets, such as oil depots, will be taken over by the state management.

“We are honoured to serve as Ukrnafta’s trusted legal adviser in crucial national matters by supporting essential stakeholders in Ukraine’s energy sector”, says Mykyta Nota, partner at AVELLUM.

AVELLUM’s team was led by partner and head of Competition practice Mykyta Nota, with significant support from counsel Anton Arkhypov and associate Veronika Humeniuk.
